Color Your World this summer at the JJML!

This year’s Teen Summer Reading Club is open to all students who are entering Grades 6-12 in Fall 2025. Our Summer Reading Kick Off will be on Saturday, June 21 from 12-2 pm in the courtyard at JJML. We will have free ice cream, a show with Keith Leaf and your teen summer reading registration bag ready for pickup. Teens who register for the Summer Reading Club between June 21-June 26 will be entered in a raffle to win two tickets to AnimeNYC! Teens who register at the Kick Off will receive one addition raffle ticket. Reporting will take place from June 26-August 21. The Teen Summer Reading Finale will be an after hours Lock-In on Friday, August 22 at 7pm.

Here’s how this year’s teen reading club works:

Visit the library to register, fill out your reading log, and pick up your Summer Reading Club bags with some fun sign up prizes. You will leave your reading log at the Teen desk after you’ve registered. Beginning on June 26 you can stop by the Teen desk to start recording the titles you’ve read on your log. After you’ve read 5 titles you will have completed the challenge. You will receive 5 raffle tickets, a prize and a free book! At that time you will be able to register for the Teen Summer Reading Finale: Lock-in. Just because you completed the challenge doesn’t mean you should stop reading! You will receive an additional raffle ticket for each title you log for up to 25 total raffle tickets!
