You can now receive books and other library items by mail through the John Jermain Library Homebound Delivery Service. This service is available to District Residents who are unable to leave their home either temporarily (due to illness or accident) or permanently (due to age, disability or other mobility issues). Books on CD and DVDs can also be borrowed through this service.
Materials are sent to the patron via the US Postal Service using a Library provided canvas mailing pouch. Items can be returned in the same pouch via the USPS at no expense to the patron.
For more information or to set up this service, please contact the Reference Desk – (631)725-0049.
