JJML and Canio’s Cultural Café will present “The 23rd National African American Read-In” on Sunday, February 9th at 3:00 p.m. This annual event is organized by the Black Caucus of the National Council of Teachers (NCTE) and the NCTE. Selections will be read from books, poems, speeches “(anything) authored by African Americans.” You may choose to read or just sit back, relax and enjoy the readings which also may include original works.
