Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteer @ The Library
Get Caught Reading Summer Photos – Show us what you’ve been reading this summer vacation. Earn 1 hour of community service by creating a Google slide with a picture of you reading a book this summer and a brief paragraph on why you choose this book (not a summary of the book). Submissions must be e-mailed to teens@johnjermain.org on/before Tuesday, August 31.
A maximum of 2 slides, for 2 hours of community service, may be submitted for the summer.
Please allow up to 10 days for a response via e-mail with community service certificates
Teen Book Reviews – Sometimes a book is so good you need to shout it from the rooftop! How about you write a review instead? Teens grades 6-12 can read and review recent young adult books to earn community service hours.
A maximum of 3 submissions, for 3 hours of community service, may be submitted each month.
Please allow up to 10 days for a response via e-mail with community service certificates
