Color Your World this summer at the JJML!

This year’s Children’s Summer Reading Challenge is open to all children ages 0 to 11. Our Summer Reading kick-off will be on Saturday, June 21st from 12-2 pm in the courtyard at JJML. We will have free ice cream, a magic show with Keith Leaf and your Summer Reading packet ready for pickup.

Here’s how children’s reading challenge works:

Visit the library to register any time starting June 21st and pick up your Summer Reading Challenge packet. Start reading and earning prizes for every 3 hours of reading. Twelve hours complete the challenge and you get a raffle ticket for our Grand Prizes. Those are gift certificates to various fun places on Long Island. Every additional 12 hours of reading earns another raffle ticket. You can start reporting starting June 29th. Summer Reading Challenge ends on August 23d.

And don’t forget about the JJML Scavenger Hunt! Our John Jermainiac will be exploring Sag Harbor for 8 weeks. If you solve the clue and find him, you can enter our weekly raffle to win gift cards to various Sag Harbor fun stores.
