What You Need to Know About Ticks

Dr. Scott Campbell, entomologist and Chief of the Suffolk County Department of Health Services’ Arthropod-Borne Disease Lab will discuss the variety of ticks found in Suffolk County, diseases caused by ticks, protective measures that can be taken, proper tick removal techniques, and steps to take if bitten by a tick. In collaboration with the Stony Brook Southampton Hospital’s Regional Tick-Borne Disease resource Center. Registration required, limit 40.
