Tough Topics: He Named Me Malala

Watch and discuss the thought provoking film, “He Named Me Malala.” It tackles the topic of inequality in global education for women. Afterwards, there will be a discussion about the issues presented in the film with featured speaker Tanya Malott. This program is co-sponsored by the Sag Harbor UFSD Diversity and Inclusion Committee.

– About Tanya –
A Sag Harbor resident and photographer, Tanya Malott Tanya traveled with Malala throughout 2014, including when Malala received the Nobel Peace Prize in Oslo. She’ll share with us her experience of traveling with Malala, and provide unique insight to Malala’s personality and mission.
