|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every week that begins at 5:30 pm on Monday, repeating until March 9, 2020

Remaining March meetings are canceled.

One of the core texts of literature, The Odyssey is also a wonderful read, with 24 chapters of heroics and patience, love and bravery, and of course, gorgeous prose and fantastic storytelling. We’ll take it slow, reading four chapters a week for six weeks, coming to understand one of the greatest stories of all time and how it has influenced our world. Facilitated by author and educator, Susan Merrell, a copy of The Odyssey will be provided for you to keep. Registration required; a materials fee of $15.00 is due within 5 days of registration.
