June 15, 2021 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm EDT
FreeFor adults and teens. Community educators from ERASE Racism will address how structural racism was embedded into the development of Long Island and will connect this history to its ongoing impact, particularly as it relates to housing and education. The program is interactive and conversational, aiming to engage participants in an honest conversation about how race continues to affect “opportunity structures” locally, regionally, and nationally, and how we can make positive change in our communities. Please register below and we will send you a Zoom link to join. This event is being hosted in honor of Juneteenth.
