On-site: Exhibit Opening for “September 11, 2001: The Day That Changed the World”

September 9, 2021 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm EDT

Join us for a Silent Exhibit Opening of September 11, 2001: The Day That Changed the World. This poster exhibition was developed by the 9/11 Memorial & Museum, and presents the history of 9/11, its origins, and its ongoing implications through personal stories of those who witnessed and survived the attacks.

During the Silent Exhibit Opening, video interviews with survivors and witnesses will be played while visitors explore the 14 exhibit posters. The exhibit itself will be a place for quiet reflection, with a dedicated space outside the exhibit available for conversations.

The exhibit will be on display in the Lower Level Program Room of John Jermain Library from September 9 – October 3. Patrons may view the exhibit when the program room is not in use.
