The mission of The Great Give Back is to provide a day of opportunities for the patrons of the Public Libraries of New York State to participate in meaningful, service-oriented experiences. Stop into JJML and participate in a variety of activities aimed to help those in need on Long Island. Activities may include decorating tote bags, sorting through donations, creating bookmarks for different nonprofit organizations, etc. Donation bins will also be onsite that day for patrons wishing to donate any of the following items: 

• Lunch Boxes!
• Unexpired non-perishable canned/jarred food including peanut butter, beans, tuna, canned fruits and vegetables, coffee, tea, etc. (please no soups, stuffing, cranberry sauce  or pumpkin) 
• Baby supplies, such as diapers, baby wipes, 
• New personal essentials such as toothpaste, deodorant, and soap

1 hour of community service will be provided to teens who participate in this event. No registration required.
