On Site: Reptiles and Amphibians of the South Fork with SOFO

July 6 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm EDT

Free

This program will meet in the lower level program room inside of the library. For children in grades K-6 with one parent/caregiver per family or group. Meet some of our local reptile and amphibian neighbors like the Eastern Box Turtle, Diamondback Terrapin, Milk Snake, Spotted Salamander and Gray Tree Frog. Learn about their unique habitats, what they need to do to find food and how they avoid being eaten. Find out how these animals are adapted to their environment and what habitat issues are critical to their future survival. This program will be presented by the South Fork Natural Museum History. Limited space. To make space for others, we ask that families limit themselves to one caregiver per family in this program. Please register for each person attending.

To protect patrons who cannot get vaccinated, we request that you continue to wear masks and social distance when inside the library and at all in-person programs.
