On-Site: Part of Your World- Worldbuilding in Fiction

July 29 @ 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm EDT

Free

This program will meet in the Garden Courtyard outside the Library’s lower level entrance. Whether you’re writing historical fiction set in Ancient Rome, engaging a reader in scenes from your childhood in memoir, or creating an imagined space opera that takes place on Saturn’s seventh ring, knowing how to communicate important details about your setting allows readers to suspend disbelief and dive into the world of your story.  Join writer Anabel Graff for a crash course in worldbuilding to learn how to bring your imagined world to life. This program is for Adult and Teens. Space is limited, registration is required.

To protect patrons who cannot get vaccinated, we request that you continue to wear masks and social distance when inside the library and at all in-person programs.

In cases of rain, high winds, or extreme heat, this program will be moved inside to the Lower Level program room.
