Whether you’re beginner or experienced player, join us at the library to learn from instructor David Beard, and build the skills needed to play a fun game of chess.

He played through elementary and high school, cumulating as the 1984 Eastern Maine Chess Champion. David brings a teaching methodology, developed by George Cunningham, to help beginning and intermediate players develop competency of the game. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn form the best!
