Virtual: Prevent/Manage High Blood Pressure with Stony Brook Medicine

This program will take place on Zoom.
Join Stony Brook Dietetic Interns to learn strategies on making food choices to help prevent/manage high blood pressure. Learn how to read food labels to identify recommended amounts of fat and sodium per serving and how to consume more whole foods and choose less processed/convenience foods by incorporating healthier cooking methods to prepare foods at home and ordering out less.
This is a county-wide program from the Stony Brook Medicine Healthy Libraries Program (HeLP) in partnership with the Public Libraries of Suffolk County.
