Recommended for children ages 4-7 years. Celebrate the Winter Solstice by joining Goat on a Boat’s Minkie the Monkey and friends on the shortest day of the year as they find ways to bring warmth and light to the season. Afterwards we will do a solstice craft together using materials that you may already have at home! Please gather the following materials before the start of the program: card stock or an empty cereal box, scissors, glue stick, markers, colored paper or whatever else you would like to add to your tree. Please download the tree pattern below and have it printed before the start of the program as well. If you do not have a printer, the library can supply you with a copy as well. Please call 631-725-0049 x0 and ask for the tree pattern for the program. Please note, a parent and/or caregiver may need to assist young ones during the craft portion of the program. Registration is required. Once you are registered you will be emailed the Zoom link before the start of the program and can access it using your computer, tablet or smartphone device.
