Virtual: Highlights of the Fall Sky

September 21 @ 7:30 pm - 8:30 pm EDT

Free

What makes the days shorter, the nights longer, and the air cooler in autumn? And what heavenly bodies and celestial events can we observe? In this free virtual (Zoom) event, join the Hamptons Observatory in exploring the science of the sun and seasons, as well as the many planets, constellations, and meteor showers that are visible in the fall sky.

Hamptons Observatory Senior Educator, William Francis Taylor, has been a NASA/JPL Solar System Ambassador since 2014, lecturing about the universe around us and sharing his love of the heavens by giving guided tours of the sky through telescopes. He is a life-long East End resident.

This event will take place on Zoom. Registration required.
