Fused Glass Snowflakes

Glass Fusion is the process of melting layers of glass in a kiln at very high temperatures. In this class participants will create fused glass snowflake ornaments or suncatchers. Instructor Lorraine Pepper will guide you through the basic techniques of cutting glass, glass safety, different types of glass, and various ways to manipulate glass in a kiln. Materials will be provided. Finished pieces will be picked up at the library at a later date. A materials fee of $10 is due at the time of required registration. Limit 10.

Registration information: Registration begins November 1st at 10:00 am. Register online below. Please register before the first class begins as registration is for the series, not individual sessions, and online registration will be unavailable once the series begins. Payment for programs may be made online with Paypal or most major credit cards, or choose the “check” option to pay in person at the library with cash or check. Payment must be received within 5 days of placing your reservation. Payment is refundable up to three days before the event. After that it is not refundable.
