Author Event: New York Splendor: The City’s Most Memorable Rooms
For adults. After 30 years scouting and writing about architecture and interiors all over the globe for Town & Country, House & Garden, Architectural Digest, and The New York Times, longtime Sag resident Wendy Moonan has written a book for Rizzoli entitled “New York Splendor: the City’s Most Memorable Rooms.” The book explores 100 private New York City interiors, each chosen for its “wow” factor, whether maximalist or minimalist. It includes some legendary spaces no longer extant, such as Brooke Astor’s library, Gloria Vanderbilt’s bedroom and Bill Blass’s living room, and spans the years from 1978 through 2018. Copies of the book will be available for purchase and inscription. Registration required.
