The History of Museums

Many of us have probably visited a museum before, but did you ever stop to think about how museums were started in the first place? Discover the evolution of museums by traveling back to the first one in 530 BC to the ones we know and love today. Grades 2 and up. Activity to do with your family: We may not be able to get to go to the physical museum right now, but we can enjoy them from the comfort of our homes!
