The Library is open Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. To protect patrons who cannot get vaccinated, including children under the age of 12, we request that you continue to wear masks when inside the library.

Homer’s “Odyssey” recounts the story about the Greek hero Odysseus during his journey home from the Trojan War. Although he encounters many struggles during this journey, there seems to be some fiction spun into the actual events that took place. Find out how the scientific explanation of what Odysseus encountered on his way home. Talk with your family: Do you believe that science played a key role in what some claimed to be magic years ago? Grades 2 and up.
