Show your patriotism and make your very own paper plate flag for the 4th of July! Please gather the following materials you may already have at home: paper plate, markers, crayons or colored pencils, red and white construction paper or tissue paper, string or popsicle sticks, scissors and glue. 

Cut the paper plate in half and color the entire thing blue.

Cut out white stars and glue them to the paper plate

Cut out long strands of red and white construction paper or tissue paper and glue them to the bottom of the plate

Glue the paper plate to a popsicle stick or poke a hole at the top and tie string around it to hang it up!
