John Jermain offers a variety of resources available for download through Livebrary, a service of the Suffolk Cooperative Library System. Resources include downloadable ebooks, audiobooks and magazines that can be read on your computer or hand-held device almost anywhere in the world. All you need is your library card for access to thousands of books and hundreds of periodicals. Apps are available to facilitate reading/listening on your computer, tablet or mobile phone. In addition library cardholders have access to a variety of feature films, documentaries and video courses through the library’s affiliations with Kanopy and Hoopla.
Ebooks and Audiobooks
Overdrive – An extensive collection of ebooks for Kindle and other e-readers, as well as a vast selection of audiobooks. Books may be downloaded to your device or read in an online app that is built into the system. Apps for computer, iPad/iPhone and Android tablets and phones are available.

Flipster – An easy-to-use digital magazine newsstand that includes hundreds of periodicals from top publishers including Time Inc., Conde Nast, Meredith, Bloomberg L.P., and more. Read online on your computer or download to your device for offline reading. Apps available for Apple and Android devices.

Kanopy – The Kanopy collection offers a broad selection of more than 30,000 award-winning documentaries, rare and hard-to-find titles, film festival favorites, indie and classic films, and world cinema, including the Criterion Collection, Samuel Goldwyn, The Great Courses, PBS and thousands of independent filmmakers. You can watch films anywhere, any time on your smartphone, tablet, PC or Smart TV. Apps are available for iOS, Android, AppleTV, Chromecast and Roku.

hoopla – hoopla is a digital media service that allows you to borrow movies, music, audiobooks, ebooks, comics and TV shows to enjoy on your computer, tablet, or phone – and even your TV. With no waiting, titles can be streamed immediately, or downloaded for offline enjoyment later. There are hundreds of thousands of titles from leading Hollywood studios, record companies and publishers to choose from, all available to borrow for streaming or for download to smartphones, tablets, computers and TVs through browsers or apps for Android, IOS, Amazon devices, Chromecast or Roku.
