The Office of the New York State Attorney General is holding a Virtual Town Hall this evening, May 7, 2020 from 6:00 p. m. to 7:15 p.m.  Consumer fraud issues that will be discussed include price gouging, unapproved medical treatments and scams related to stimulus checks.  Specific fraudulent schemes as well as prevention tactics will be discussed.  Elected and community leaders  will share how their offices have pivoted their work to address the needs of their communities in response to the coronavirus pandemic.  This event will be shared in Spanish as well as English.
