The Invisible Ones, by Stef Penney
An intriguing mystery which follows the threads of the disappearance of a young gypsy woman. The story is told from three main perspectives, two chronological and one that feels out of time but is really piecing the story together from a memory erasing injury. The mystery delves into the private lives of a small gypsy community, exposing family secrets and superstitions to a half “gypsy” investigator obsessed with his own failed marriage. Worth reading just to get to know the unusual characters and their eccentricities.
