About the Artist:
Pamela has lived most of her life on the East End, an uncommonly beautiful place of wetlands, farmland, endless sea and sky. She also travels to find inspiration for her landscapes, which reflect her longtime devotion to preserving and interpreting these visual impressions.
Detailed colored pencil drawings, photographs and multiple site visits are sources for the tapestry designs, which are woven on a high warp tapestry loom using wool silk and linen.
Pamela received a BFA from the School of Visual and Performing Arts, Syracuse University. Archie Brennan, the Scottish Tapestry weaver was her mentor.
