The Library will be Closed starting Monday, October 2nd for a “Glow Up.” Please keep a watch on our website and social media for renovation updates. We will still provide library services such as virtual programs, order of library materials (including holds & interlibrary loans) to be picked up in the plaza, and answering questions via phone and email.

Friends of the Library


The Friends of the John Jermain Library is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to the support of the Library. Membership is open to the general public, and its officers are elected from the members. The Friends meet eight times a year on the second Thursday of each month at 11:00 A.M., March through June and September through December – email friends@johnjermain.org or join Friends of the Library to receive information on how to join the meeting.

The Friends’ fundraising events underwrite many of the library’s cultural programs. Join the Friends and help shape the library’s future by completing and mailing the form on this page, or contact: friends@johnjermain.org for more information.
