The Library will CLOSE at 12:30 pm on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 for staff development. 

Our regular hours are Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

In compliance with New York State regulations, staff and patrons must wear a mask at all times.

Friends of the Library


The Friends of the John Jermain Library is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to the support of the Library. Membership is open to the general public, and its officers are elected from the members. The Friends meet eight times a year on the second Thursday of each month at 2:00 P.M., March through June and September through December – email friends@johnjermain.org or join Friends of the Library to receive information on how to join the meeting.

The Friends’ fundraising events, including the House Tour which has been hosted annually since 1973, underwrite many of the library’s cultural programs.
