John Jermain Memorial Library, located in historic Sag Harbor, is a member of the Suffolk Cooperative Library System and an organizational member of the Sag Harbor Cultural District.
Founded in 1910 to serve the information and entertainment needs of the community, our mission has grown to include programs, exhibitions, off-site initiatives, digital access and education, and the inclusion and preservation of varied local content for the library of the future.
We accomplish these goals collaboratively, through the dedication of a supportive and talented staff, and by celebrating the multiplicity of opinions and viewpoints that reflect our historic and evolving community.
John Jermain is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to fair employment practices for all individuals, and to maintaining a just, equitable, inclusive and diverse workplace. We warmly welcome applicants for all positions without regard to race, color, creed, religion, nationality or ancestry, gender, sexual orientation, age, or disability.
