Free Access to ConsumerReports.org

Did your TV,  washing machine, or laptop have a meltdown just when you need it most?  People are shopping online more often these days. If you need to research potential purchases you may want to consult ConsumerReports.org.  The Consumer Reports website and magazine publishes reviews and comparisons of consumer products and services based on independent research and reporting.

Usually, full access to ConsumerReports.org is only available with a paid subscription. However, John Jermain Library cardholders have full access for free through the JJML website. All you need is your library card barcode and pin (also called password.)  Click here to access ConsumerReports.org. Or visit  johnjermain.org,  click on “Adults > Overview.” On the left side, you’ll  see a box labeled “Featured Resources.” You’ll find the link to ConsumerReports.org right there.

The very popular Consumer Reports Buying Guides are also available on the ConsumerReports.org website.
