The Library Still Serves

Dear Sag Harbor: Our building is closed, but we are still providing services.

Don’t have a library card? No problem. You can call us for information on applying for free access to many electronic resources including books and databases.

Don’t like reading online? No problem. Check out the “Little Free Library” located in our garden.

Have overdue library materials checked out? No problem.  We never charge fines, so please don’t worry about returning items; keep all materials safely at home for now.

Miss our programs? No problem. We have online trivia, book discussions, and children’s story times—with more to come. Find out how to connect here. And check back often as the list of offerings continues to grow!

Need reliable information? No problem. Check out our FAQ page, email us at info@johnjermain.org, or call and leave a message at 631.725.0049 x223 and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

Have information to share? No problem. Send your thoughts, photos, videos, and impressions to us at info@johnjermain.org with the subject line “COVID-19 Sag Harbor Archive” and we will add them to the collection we began on March 10, 2020.  We are 6,600 voices strong.

I do not anticipate reopening in April, although we may have some limited service. When we do return, John Jermain will play a key role in rebuilding our community; in the meantime my awesome colleagues will find new and innovative ways to connect and engage our users. For JJML staff, service comes naturally—no matter what I’ve asked of them in recent days, they have replied, “No problem!”
