Virtual Story times! Parents, join us on Facebook everyday at 11:00 am (kids birth-2nd grade) and 2:00 pm (kids 2nd grade and up)to watch a fun-filled story time with your children, complete with a discussion question for after the video. Stories will be a collection of live book readings and animated educational videos following each week’s theme.

Ted Talk Discussions Hang out with us every night at 6:00 pm and watch a short (~20 mins) Ted Talk video according to each week’s theme! Then, share your thoughts and have a courteous discussion with your neighbors in the comments section.

Online Book Club: The Silmarillion Join Librarian Arielle each week in reading a new chapter of The Silmarillion, by J. R. R. Tolkien. Every Monday at 4:00, we’ll post an episode of the 2015 podcast Talking Tolkien, where a group of three young people discuss each chapter in a fun, easy-to-understand way that makes you feel like you’re part of the conversation. Virtual Trivia! Hang out with us every Friday night at 8:00 pm sharp and play a virtual trivia game with us! All participants who finish the game will get a special edition Books, Brains, and Bragging Rights pin when we reopen.
