It's Germane

We’re closed, but we can still help you.

Dear Neighbors,

Due to recent recommendations about the need to limit and slow the spread of the COVID-19 virus, and our deep concern for our staff and the public we serve, John Jermain will begin a temporary closure of our facility at 5:00 p.m. Friday, March 13.

Please check our website and social media channels for the latest information regarding our plans to reopen. Our website also provides access to many free streaming services including movies, e-books and magazines.  You can find access to articles, historic newspapers and an online tutorial service, Brainfuse.  Many of our resources are also available in Spanish. Contact our reference team at info@johnjermain.org or at 631.725.0049 x223 for help in accessing the resources—as well as with research or book recommendations.

Our staff members are working now to provide you and your family with online story times and tutorials on our Facebook page, and I will be adding to our blog on a regular basis. Check our website for updates.

For other suggestions and questions, please contact me directly at catherine@johnjermain.org or 631.725.0049 x223. My colleagues and I will be checking on the building daily while it waits for our return; we look forward to welcoming you back to the Library soon.
