This past Saturday, on October 27th, we had our annual Halloween Fair in the Children’s Department. Children and families were encouraged to dress up in their costumes, and they did not disappoint! We had children dressed up as knights, Lego blocks and even a gumball machine! Some of our employees also took part in dressing up for our fair- 3 of them being witches (myself included!) It was a day filled with Halloween themed crafts such as pumpkin painting and mask designing, and games such as monster bowling and tic-tac-toe. Of course, we had some yummy candy for kids to fill their treat bags with, along with fruit punch and a popcorn trolley. Although we had some inclement weather outside, we had over 150 patrons show up for our event! Our phones were ringing off the hook that morning to ensure that the Halloween Fair was still going on. There was something for everyone at the Halloween party, and it was great to see the community come together and celebrate! It was a fun kick off to the Halloween weekend.
